Coordinator of Technology Development

US | Remote

This position will, working closely with CTO, assess and address user software development needs. Areas of responsibility include the full range of development and development planning activities, including determining user requirements, recommending practical solutions, and leading companywide efforts to improve the effective use of technology internally and externally.

Work Environment

Remote currently. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filling cabinets.

Essential Functions

  • Manage development of user-facing products & scaling of application infrastructure.
  • Work cross-functionally with other tech teams internally and externally.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and use of technology throughout SMARTENDING inc.
  • Be on call to respond when something goes wrong.
  • Be involved at any or all stages of the development process including research, design and programming.
  • Provide technical leadership to engineering teams and contribute to product development.
  • Portfolio and project management, with a solid understanding of managing milestones, deliverables and resource scheduling for multiple, highly visible, long-term and complex projects.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected depending.

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor Degree or 5 years of related work experience.
